Koffie's coffee tour in Paksong starts in the coffee growing center from the Bolaven Plateau. The coffee tour is highly informative and you'll see a coffee nursery, a new peace of land to start "our own" coffee farm, a farm with young coffee trees, an old farm, coffee processing (wet and dry). Since Paksong is a very quiet, rural Lao place, as a visitor you will appreciate a friendly European face who can help you with your real coffee experience.
From our coffee pickers house in Paksong "Ban Won" we start the tour and you are directly surrounded by coffee growing and processing.
During this very informative tour we see different varieties of Arabica, different coffee farms and a new coffee plantation and depending on the season, a coffee nursery, coffee drying areas and coffee processing.
When we are back from the coffee tour you drink a freshly wok roasted Italian style Espresso (Bialetti). With the coffee tour plus we manualy process some green beans (Washed Arabica) and roast them freshly in a wok.
Koffie's coffee tour plus in Paksong has an extra roasting part, we process coffee by hand and we wokroast the newly processed coffee.

who are we
Mr Coffee, as all the locals call him, is a Dutch fellow who has married a Laos woman and moved to the Bolaven plateau to start an organic coffee plantation.
